The Farm
Hassinger Farm is comprised of more than 60 acres of cross fenced open pasture nestled within the sand hills of Southern Pines/Aberdeen, North Carolina. The barn is a Kentucky shed row design under a single roof. The spacious stalls face outward for increased airflow. Each stall is equipped with an automatic fly spray and watering system for the comfort of each horse. The property offers spacious turn-out for each of our equine guests. For the rider, two all-weather 140' x 280' show rings, an outdoor derby course and a 5/8 mile dirt track. We welcome visitors. Whether you want to school over a different course, clinic with a different instructor or simply enjoy the view from the many trails that meander throughout the central farm or surrounding property, we welcome you and your horse for visit anytime. We are available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Weekends are available by appointment.
A Complete Facility
The farm is home to the sales office of Hassinger Farm, under the direction of owner/trainer Amy Hassinger and Hassinger Equine Service Sports Medicine Imaging and Rehabilitation Center under the supervision of Dr. James Hassinger, owner/veterinarian. Hassinger Farm is a full service facility that caters the complete needs of the discerning horseman. We offer many amenities including: full service care/training, personalized coaching, equine sales/marketing and a complete veterinary clinic in-house. As a family operation, we know each of our client’s horses and ponies individually. As a team, we offer that personal touch and hands-on care that is often lacking. We are one of the only trading facilities that has its own in-house sports medicine veterinary clinic! We understand the level of care and companionship that you want your horse to experience.
A Horseman's Dream
Hassinger Farm offers a pristine environment to ride and train horses. The farm is nestled just south of Southern Pines, NC in the historic community of Aberdeen. The history of the farm dates back to its use as a Thoroughbred training facility known as Old Westbury Farm. It was later sold and renamed Bradford Lane Farm. It is presently known as Hassinger Farm and is home to Hassinger Equine Service Sports Medicine Imaging and Rehabilitation Center and Hassinger Farm Show Stable. The property consists of a lovely long leaf pine trees, oaks, figs, bradford pears and more. The large pond offers therapeutic hydrotherapy for injured horse as well as a non-invasive environment for the conditioning of show horses. The property is adjacent to a training race track as well as hundreds of acres of trails. We offer one of the only derby courses in the area as well as the largest all sand footing dressage/ flat work arenas. A cross country course in currently under construction. The course will offer a large water hazard, multiple banks and a variety of open as well as wooded areas on rolling and flat terrain.
